Chipolte

First off I'm going to start by saying..... for the longest time, I HATED chipotle. I had it one time with my aunt when I was like 10 and did not like it what so ever so I made myself believe that no matter what you get from there, it's gross. I never understood what the hype was about it because of my one bad experience. I recently came around to get myself to try it and I still don't understand what the hype is about it but I find myself eating there quite often. I get the bowl with white rice, chicken, cheese, extra sour cream and corn salsa. I don't know what it is about it but it's quite tasty and I really don't know why I was so against it. I'm not a fan of chicken either but the way they make theirs is dang delicious. It's totally a good spot to go if you're in a hurry but have to go at the right times because since it's so popular, there is usually a line. The line goes fast because the workers are so quick but it's worth the extra f…

McDonalds

Well, I don't eat McDonalds A LOT but it is kind of my go to. Since I live in Montgomery, there isn't really any places to just grab and go so my family usually eats in New Prague. During the nice, spring/summer months we eat there more often because my brother, Aiden, has baseball and my mom doesn't always have time to make us supper so we get McDonalds and eat it in the car on our way. I usually have to be craving it to want to eat it but my go to is nuggets or a mcchicken. I typically always get a caramel frappe or strawberry banana smoothie and if I don't, something is wrong. I like to get something different each time I go but I usually stick to the same old cheeseburger, mcchicken, fries, a big mac, nuggets and that's it. Occasionally I'll get their wraps because those are good too but not to die for. I can't find myself eating at McDonalds every day like some people can because I get sick of the same old  unhealthy stuff every time. And again, I said…

Little Dandy

The Little Dandy is a locally owned bar and grill in Le Center. If you aren't from around the area it isn't well known but if you are you'll know it's worth the money. It isn't super expensive though and you get what you paid for. They have specials on the weekly but I like to go and get a chicken strip wrap with fries and extra ranch. They have the good, home-made creamy ranch. It is by far my favorite with their fries. Thinking about it makes my mouth water. I fill up quickly when I eat there so I usually have leftovers and the fries are good warmed up but the wrap, not so much. Either way though it's still so good. When I go there though, I like to switch it up depending on how hungry I am. Sometimes I get their Rueben balls or ham and cheese balls, mini corndogs, just fries. They are crinkle cut fries and those are definitely my favorite kind of fries. All their food is really good and by far one of my favorite places to eat.

Red Lobster

Red Lobster is the best place to eat if you're a seafood lover like me. It can be kind of spendy but I promise it is so worth it. I grew up eating snow crab legs because my mom would always crack them for me. As I got older though I realized that it takes longer to crack them than it takes to eat them and a lot of them barely have any meat so you're still hungry after them. I usually get the seaside trio which is the shrimp linguine, shrimp scampi, breaded shrimp and a baked potato. The biscuits are to die for and they're really good dipped in the garlic butter from the scampi. It is so hard not to fill up on biscuits before your meal even comes. The shrimp scampi is THE BEST because the garlic butter is perfect and I take the left over butter and pour it over my baked potato. If you're on a diet of any sort, Red Lobster isn't the place for you because of all the butter and fat. Since it is spendy, it is a treat to eat there and I swear it gets better each and ever…

Jimmy Johns

My first time trying Jimmy Johns was about a year ago and I was impressed. I never understood what the huge hype about them was because it's nothing to die for but they are good. When I was younger, my mom would take me to Quiznos after every doctor visit. We totally forgot about them as years went on and the Quiznos near by shut down. We had heard that Jimmy Johns was half Subway and half Quiznos so we decided to give them  try. They're quick, easy and we love them. Nothing will compare to Quiznos but sometimes Jimmy Johns is better than Subway. I'm more of a pepperoni and salami kind of person, it's my go to so I always order the #5 Vito which is a pepperoni and salami sub with lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, onion, Italian vinaigrette and I add extra mayonnaise and also ask for no onion. The sandwich itself is 8" so it's bigger than a 6" and I definitely don't leave hungry. They have different size subs so if you want bigger or smaller they offe…

Applebees

Usually, if I can't decide whether I want pasta or wings this is the place I go and sometimes I get both. When I was younger, I used to think everything they made was out of apples so I refused to go there but I eventually figured out my childhood thoughts were so wrong and I was missing out. If I'm feeling pasta, I get the Three-Cheese Chicken Cavatappi but take the chicken off because I'm not a fan of plain chicken. The noodles are spirals and it's white sauce and I am definitely a fan of white sauce. It isn't super cheesy, but it's cheesy enough. Wings are wings I guess, just depends how you like them but in my opinion the Applebee's wings taste like Bdubs only cheaper (can't go wrong). My favorite deal is when they have the 2 for $20 because then you get 2 entrees and a free appetizer, SUCH A GOOD DEAL!! My favorite appetizer is the Spinach and Artichoke dip, it's always warm and fresh and it is soooo good. Although I'm not a fan of artichok…

Buffalo Wild Wings

Well... Buffalo Wild Wings (also known as bdubs) is the place for you if you love tacos. Just kidding, it's obvious what they're known for. There's many different options though and they don't have just wings. But if you're going, you might as well get the wings ( I promise, you won't regret it). You get to choose, bone or no bone but boneless is better than traditional in my opinion. I like being able to enjoy the wings rather than getting messy and missing some meat. I know it's probably in my head but I also think the traditional taste different, so I stick to the boneless. I'm not a huge fan of wings in general unless they're from bdubs. I'm very basic and get the same flavor every time because it's just so good, although they do have many different options whether you want something more spicy, more mild, or more plain. My favorite is honey barbeque because it's not spicy but it's not really barbeque-y either. I never finish wha…
